2009 Academy Award Nominations

Here are the 2009 82nd Academy Award Nominations and as you can see, Star Trek, one of my favourite movies of the year didn't make the cut for Best Picture. UP is included, making it the first animated movie since Beauty and the Beast, to be nominated for Best Picture. District 9 makes a surprise inclusion which I'm happy with. Avatar and The Hurt Locker lead the nominations with 9, followed by Inglourious Basterds with 8.
